316L Stainless Steel – Our Signature Base Metal
Renowned for its strength and purity, 316L stainless steel is our foundation. It resists rust, tarnish, and everyday wear, making it ideal for lasting elegance. Hypoallergenic and durable, it’s the trusted choice for timeless, skin-safe jewelry.
Stainless Steel vs. Titanium Steel
Both terms refer to the same high-quality metal base. "Titanium steel" highlights the use of titanium in the gold-plating process, helping gold bond seamlessly to the stainless steel beneath. Whether called stainless or titanium steel, both ensure lasting beauty and strength.
Why Gold Plating?
We use vacuum ion gold plating for its superior durability and rich, lasting color. Tested for abrasion and wear, it keeps its shine even in harsh conditions, while remaining eco-friendly.
Gold Plating Method: IP / PVD
We use IP/PVD vacuum ion plating to bond a thin layer of gold onto jewelry, ensuring a durable finish.
Why Titanium?
Gold doesn’t bond directly to stainless steel. Titanium acts as a bridge, adhering to both, making the gold coating possible and long-lasting.
Safe Gold-Plating Method
Reyven’s Collection uses high-temperature, vacuum gold-plating with titanium, never nickel. This advanced, nickel-free process is safer for skin, more durable, and built to last.
How Much Gold?
PVD uses a tiny amount of 18K gold, about 11.5g per several hundred pieces. The layer is ultra-thin, making the jewelry non-precious by standard definitions, yet still rich in look and durability.
